"GREEDY AND DECEPTIVE!!! I called more than once and asked about the grace period. Five days. I moved out exactly Five days after the end of my contract. They falsified the collection dispute amount and the date. No I wasn't going to pay another month!!! Lowered my credit 100 pts. Cost me 2% more to borrow money on a car loan. My attorney said I met the terms of the contract. Supposed to be climate controlled. It gets very hot and cold in there.They said temperature and humidity aren't part of the climate!!! Keep looking!!!"

"Got the run-around TWICE just trying to rent a unit online. Wanted Dardanelle Prairie but was ultimately set up in Ballwin! Then I tried again online, being very cautious, and tried to get a unit in St Peters, but was contracted with St Charles location. Christopher was great, yet I was still charged all the administrative fees and for the lock and few days I never used or realized that I had been given a unit in Ballwin. The confirmation emails tell you ABOUT the unit, including the number, in big bold print yet the location is at the very, very bottom of the email and very, very small. Further, my unit is supposed to come with 24/7 access and after 10 pm the key pad tells me "Access denied. Area closed." This has cost me valuable time, effort, gas, and stress. I believe I deserve either a credit or partial refund since it was not MY fault I couldn't access a 24 hour unit but was denied by their system. Apparently it's open 24 hours, just not in a row! Only got the 2 stars because of the manager and because you offer numerous access points and carts to facilitate the move. I'm not sure that I could actually recommend Life Storage to anyone."

"This was my best customer service experience to date. My wife and I needed a storage unit in short notice and after seeing the online inventory was low we decided to stop by. Chris was very helpful in getting us a unit and the supplies we needed to keep our items safe and clean. We didn't have any questions to ask as Chris was able to explain the rental and insurance policies quickly and with detail. We also received a tour of the unit and the nearby entrances with a demonstration of how to open the doors. This was of great help as this was our first storage unit."

"Awesome experience from the time I stopped in and talked to Liz about seeing the actual sizes of space I "thought" I needed to rent. Although she was extremely busy she made me feel that I was a priority and showed me spaces even though I mentioned I was going to set up online as there was a discount there. She assured me I could get that pricing with their assistance since I mentioned the online process and she reserved my space for me until I could complete the rental process on Saturday. Chris the "extremely friendly and helpful" manager called me the day before to set up an appointment time and when I arrived on Saturday, he took me through all the paperwork, showed us the space again to be sure that was what I needed, explained how the locks worked, showed us the easiest access door to go to unload near our space and illustrated the way the outside access box worked as well as the overall door. When we left we felt like we knew everything we needed to know to use the facility quickly, easily and safely! Highly recommend Chris and Liz for your storage needs at Life Storage. Chris was also training a new team member and I was impressed with his patience in the training and allowing that person to complete our paperwork with his oversight so she would become comfortable in doing it on her own in the future. "Me and boyfriend rented a space for about 6 months. The manager, I think his name is Chris, is super nice and chill. All of the employees are super helpful and nice. The facility is open 24 hours but everyone has thier own access code so it always felt safe. It's also super clean, no dumpsters full of trash, like you see at other places. Multiple doors make it super easy to access all the units as well! Overall we loved this facility and were glad we stored with them!"

"On Tuesday, September 28th, I needed to put a few more things in my storage locker. I have a very bad back and your employee Christopher Shannon did all the work! All I did was explain my situation and I pulled around to the back dock. He met me back there, loaded the things from my car and to my storage unit. I have trouble with the lock and he took the time to open my storage unit and set the few things I had in there. We closed and locked my storage unit and I assumed he had helped enough but he also took the time to walk me out to my car and asked if he could help me with anything else! "The place was very nice. It has units that are climate controlled with 24 hour access. It is easily accessed has a carport that you can back under to unload in bad weather. They have carts you can use for free they even give you use of a moving van or truck for free. Things I dont like are you have to carry insurance, you have to buy their padlock, they have a 1 time administration fee. I have to say the best thing about my rental experience was the property manager Cris. He was very polite, very knowledgeable, very helpful. He made the whole experience worth it. "This is a very clean and well maintained facility. The person I contacted on the phone (maybe Lisa?) was efficient and helpful selecting a unit and getting me registered. I got a call a little while later from the manager, Timothy, just checking in with me to answer any questions. When I visited the site the 1st time, Tim was so helpful and professional and showed me how to use the lock mechanism. The price is very reasonable, and the lock purchase comes with 3 keys for the unit. The system at this facility is really convenient and easy to use. Highly recommend!"

"Extremely easy online sign up with lease signing online as well. When we got there with our first load, the man that works there was extremely helpful with finding our unit and installing the lock. Security seems tight with an 8 digit pin in order to enter the building. Automatic light sensors turn on as you're walking through the LONG hallways. VERY CLEAN facility!"
