A 10x20 storage space is the size of 2-3 Bedrooms. It holds furnishings and appliances for an average 1500 sq. ft. residence. It can also hold compact vehicles depending on width and length.

"i had been renting 2 -20 x 15 units and 1- 30 x 15 unit with raceway heated storage. the total each month was over $1000 but the security, dependability, and over all protection the company provided was 5 stars. then sadly life storage bought out all raceway storage facilities and i was faced with moving my 3 large units or accepting the price increases, the change in policies which also included no longer getting the 10 day grac e period before charging late fees and worst of all this new owner haz zero concern or respectfor the customers property and are completely unaccountable for keeping the facility secure. there was a 3 month period where they left the gates wide open which are supposed to be locked at all times and only gained entrywith a valid user code. they made no attempt to fix the issue and unit after unit started getting robbed. so to protect my self i started parking inside the facility at the end of access hours until access hours opened again every single day so i could watch my units and ensure my valuables weren't stolen. i literally did the job i pay them to do i showed up every night at 11pm to shirhe gates down also and you'd think they would just shut their mouth considering i had to do itbacaus4they failed to do the job that i paid and had a legal lease guaranteeing the security measures they didn't give a shit about..... but no they had the audacity to terminate all 3 of my leases because i stayed after hours to keep people from more break ins which i called almost daily to try and get them to honor the lease and secure the property. i had to pay an obsene amount of money to sleeep in mh car and do the job that i paid them for and they turned arpund and evicted me the day after i paid a months rent on all 3 units. never returned the remaining money for the month i didnt get to have my stuff stored that i paid which they promised. i cannot find words to describe the absolute unprofessional, and illegal steps that were taken by this facility and it boggles the mind that a huge company like life storage gets away woth stealing money from thier customers, not following a legally binding lease and its terms, blatently setting people up to have all of thier stuff stolen and dping literally nothing about it. i should have gotten a lawyer but at the time the moving was so overwhelimg and cost me so much money i regret to say i didnt and i would have gotten a decent settlement for the neglegence. but whats important to me is making sure all future renters have this knowledge before making the choice to put faith in this facility because its highly likely that they will end up with a simular story and its wrong and they should be forced out of business if thats the time of shady business they run. they have no regiard for the people who store with them and some of the things people store are irreplaceable and not everyone is fortunate enough to have the funds to keep thier property safe and pay moving fees and be jacked for months worth of rent and they potentially lose thier belongings because of the life storage lack of respect for the legal contract they signed and had you sign which is a insanely huge issue for a big vompany to conduct this way and get away woth it. they need to be held accountable."

"This storage unit is clean, well organized, staff is very helpful, and on move in day I found carts to load my stuff and move it through garage doors on the building into an elevator. "Today is 27th 2021 I came like usually to my storage and I figure out somebody change lock for my storage get in GuessWhat I call this company nobody answer and that’s the worktime 2 PM I called two times customer service they are in New York they say we can send information about you to the manager to call you nobody call me nobody give me any note they will do . I have an auto pay Customer service says you’re a good. I don’t know what to think"
"Definitely not the same level of service, or security since Lifestorage took over Raceway. On more than one occasion I have seen gates wide open. My access was recently blocked due to "late" Payment (10 days). I confirmed with my bank that Payment was sent by the due date. Maybe someone needs to go check the mail?"

We suffered an apartment complex fire, walked into life storage and didn't have much expectations of customer service.
To our delight, Nani was so professional and helpful despite our lack of knowledge of our own needs. She wrote down a list of units and prices we might need and had us touring within 5 minutes of entering the office.
She made the entire experience super fast and absolutely not one hiccup or headache.
We even had time to chat and bond during the whole process because her ability to multitask was top notch.
Prices of the storage was more than fair, facilities are heated and very secure. Key code needed to enter the gates, and the same key code is needed to enter the inner buildings, which are heated and very clean. They have large trolleys and large elevators for convenience.
They have security cameras that show on monitors inside the office so clients can physically see that they have security measures in place to protect our property which I really appreciate.
Overall, best customer service we have experienced during one of the hardest weeks of our life. Thank you Nani, you made a hard day a little easier."
"Life storage is the worst company I have ever worked with this is the second facility I've been with that life storage has taken over. I pay my bill on autopay. Never never never use this company. I've been locked out, had my access code changed with out notification. The ridiculous problems are endless. Worst company ever!"

"Called all day no answer, i purchased a unit at auction and drove a uhaul which im paying by milage and gas for not to mention had 2 workers with me and get to location and sign says only open from noon to 3pm. I arrived at 230pm and no one was there. Drove to next nearest location where I met Cheyanna the "manager" who just came from the closed location. When I asked why she closed early (before the sign said) she lies and says she called everyone to let them know they closed early. I asked why she lieing because I never got a call or message she tells me to leave or will call police. I've put in a formal complaint with corporate and her "actual" boss Greg since she tried to claim she is the head honcho of all stores in WA and she don't have a supervisor she is the supervisor"

"This place is a joke! You can't get ahold of anyone not even to pay your bill! I every time I come there is never anyone here and they said they open at 9 but now have changed the hours to 9:30. Can't reach anyone on the automated line and I supposedly put my CC on auto pay and still have yet to see payment come out it's been over a month!!! I need to make sure I don't loose my stuff. I came here cuz I thought this place was a good company! What a joke."
"I rented my unit online- becuase we were cleaning out an apartment after a death in the family. Very easy to secure a space. Very secure. Very helpful onsite manager. Easy access to Highway 18. Compliments from the moving company about how good the storage was compared to other storage facilities they had to move items into and out of. Great all around!"
"Both my parents died within a week of each other and I needed a place to store some misc items until I could make room for them at home. Looked online and they had an online only promotion for a free month after renting storage space online and paying first month. Which I did. Only to find out that the space that I was directed to rent for the online promotion wasn’t included in the promotion?
So why was I directed to rent this space online if it wasn’t apart of the promotion. NO ONE CAN TELL ME THAT!
First I was told I already got the month free because I didn’t pay full price for the space I rented. Which I did. Then was given the run around. Told I would be called back. NOTHING. AND OF COURSE THEY WERE CLOSED FOR 2 days and when they were open again for me to come in I had to pay late fees etc etc.
SO ENDED UP PAYING $93 for a months rent on a space that was suppose to be $59 first month and free the next."
