Helpful staff Lindsey is always on top of things!

Lindsey is a very kind, helpful employee and the facility is clean/well cooled. Would recommend if you need a good sized CC storage unit. The only thing I would recommend to improve (not Lindsey’s fault in any way) is the access gets a little bit redundant with putting in the code to get in and then again to use the elevator. Other than that, great service, good units!

As a small business owner who’s struggling during this inflation, she has been such an advocate for me and my company doing everything she could to assist me with my every storage needs. She’s a superb employee that really makes up for things that needs improvement at Life Storage. Would like to request more carts - that would really help! Otherwise - since the take over it’s been so much better and safer!

Signed up for a unit yesterday. Not a great onboarding experience so far. Yesterday was a holiday, but I missed any reference to requiring an initial check in at the office after signing up. I stupidly assumed (it’s 2024) that it would all be online. So I lost a day I’ve paid for straight off the bat. So today I head back to the facility during office hours, and now there’s a sign on the door saying to call a number, a staffer is on site and can come back. I call the number and instead, the staffer is at the bank making deposits and “will be back in 10 minutes”. I mean, sure. But every other storage unit I’ve ever used was just way more straightforward to get going. If this place was 30% cheaper vs market I’d accept that the tech / processes are not in line with market. Instead though, the unit price was a little better than an alternative, until I realised that I HAD to purchase insurance. Pot committed, I just convinced myself that the insurance might be worth it, and I went ahead. So far I’m wishing I just took a unit in the Public Storage across the road, I’d have already got everything into it by now. Staffer just came back so now I’ll see what check in looks like.

Ive had a storage unit or two for a few years at the Mary street facility in Austin Gus was always helpful. Lindsey helped drill-out a lock for me once. She is very conscientious. The newest manager, Akbar helped me prorate the rent on one unit as I tried to move into a much smaller one. Great experience dealing with management there throughout my tenancy.

Lindsey was so very helpful, she given me the walk through around the facility and showed me how the storage locker locks ?? & what I can and can’t store in there which was very helpful it was all very straight forward & made it very clear about pricing going up every 3-4 months , and was so caring to answer all my billions of questions. Amazing customer service with Lindsey ??
