I was in a rush to pick my son up & didn’t have time to make sure my code for the gate worked, so she tried it for me and said she’d call if it didn’t work. Aah. Bless her heart. The rates are also very affordable. I was sketched at first because I thought it would be a mess, but to my delighted surprise, this was not the case."

"Pros: Manager Donna was polite and made the process as painless as can be. She showed me the unit as I had reserved it the night before. The rate was okay for a 10x10 unit. The facility is clean, the roads are pretty good, and the security is good. The facility is also 24 hour access. Cons: When you initially sign up, there is a $25 administration fee along with having to buy a special type of lock (cylindrical type core that inserts to lock and removes to unlock) that is 17.99 plus tax on the lock on top of first months rent. If you also need to store a vehicle, they require a copy of the title, so they can attempt to auction your vehicle after non payment for x amount of time. The signing up process for anyone with a vehicle(s) can be timely so prepare for that. They also require you to either purchase their insurance (I think it was around $20 a month) or to carry renters or homeowners insurance (requires a copy of your policy). Overall it is a nice facility with nice staff. The location is great as it is relatively safe for St. Louis and doesn't have much going on there aside from people driving down the road so it is relatively quiet. My only issues with Life Storage is the policies that the company has in place and not with this specific location."
