"This was the 3rd time we rented a unit at Life Storage on Ā Burbank for my LSU students. We live in the Northeast. I reserved a space prior to arriving in June. I was told the unit was not available and had to pay for a larger unit which we didn't need. My son left Baton Rouge before the Hurricane and still had a few things to move out. He came back 4 days after the next rent was due. He was then charged a late fee and the full month of rent. Would not prorate or even remove late fee. Ā Will locate a different Storage company for my freshman going forward. Really disappointing given the circumstances."

In over 20 years of storing things all over the US I have never been as happy with a facility and staff as I am with them. Staff is fantastic. They care about what they are doing for sure. "I called ahead and was told that I didn't have to buy a lock. So I came and they showed up the storage unit and there was a gift bag in there with a lock. The manager took the gift bag and then made us pay for a lock. I was confused because they made it seem like I wouldn't have to pay for a lock and then it looked like usually people get a lock when they sign up for it."
"I am not sure if this survey goes to the specific storage location or to a more corporate reader but I just want to say that we needed this storage in a sort of rushed situation when my son's university shut down in the Spring of 2020 due to the pandemic. "So I was at the Life storage off of Perkins and it was so much better than this one for some reason. This facility, located close to LSU, has a grand total of 2 carts. FLIPPING 2!! About half the time I go either I'm looking for a cart or someone is looking for me to see if I'm done with the one I have. It's absolutely ridiculous. I've complained and so have other people but to no avail.
Also, the A/C in the place must be turned up higher than the other facility because. Seems a lot warmer and more humid than the other facility.
So if you live in between the two facilities use the one on Perkins, not this one."
