A 10x20 storage space is the size of 2-3 Bedrooms. It holds furnishings and appliances for an average 1500 sq. ft. residence. It can also hold compact vehicles depending on width and length.

I came to the store seeking policy and procedure on what happens to a storage unit if a loved one has passed on and no arrangements have been made for it. I made it clear that I wasn't requesting personal information...only what happens in that event. I was told that NO information could be given. No directing to me to someone that could help with that information. No concern or helpful direction for such a sensitive matter. Each store has their own policies and procedures on certain aspects and therefore customer service wasn't fully able to answer my question clearly. It could happen to anyone ...not everyone has their affairs in order when something unexpectedly happens."

"I had reserved a unit online. There were no issues with my reservation, everything was in place. The facility is clean and secure. Jim was very helpful and made sure I had a cart waiting for me. I was surprised at how much room was in the unit. I had reserved a 5x7 space, but it seemed much bigger. The units are very high so if you can stack a lot of bins, you will be in really great shape!"

"When the locking mechanism was changed on my storage unit, I found the old parts on the floor inside my unit. Just a small metal bar and a few screws, no big deal. It could be that they were interrupted during the cleanup process after changing the lock. Otherwise everything has been great."

A few times I came to my unit and the snow had not been cleared from in front of my unit, so much that I was beginning to wonder if cleaning directly in front of my unit was something I needed to do. The only way I would recommend to make the experience better would be to change the exit code requirement for leaving the compound. The requirement to resubmit the full code on leaving is a slight burden after a full day working in a storage locker. It would also seem to be a safety hazard for anyone needing to exit the compound in an expditious manner.

Otherwise we drain the batteries to the point of having to replace them every couple of years.
