A 5x5 storage space is the size of a small walk-in closet. It holds one piece of furniture with a narrow footprint, tall narrow items like lamps, and 6-8 boxes.
A 10x20 storage space is the size of 2-3 Bedrooms. It holds furnishings and appliances for an average 1500 sq. ft. residence. It can also hold compact vehicles depending on width and length.

"Do not use this facility. I rented 3 units in the climate controlled building. 2 were covered in rat droppings. Lost expensive furniture and a rug. They said it’s not their problem and to take it up with the insurance company. They reimburse $500 . Basically told I should have bought more insurance. I never would have expected a rat infestation in a climate controlled area. Never had it anywhere else. I would never rent here if had known. By the way I spoke to 2 other tenants in the adjacent climate controlled building and they were covered in rats as well.
Bottom line ....stay away from here"

"We rented a unit for a few months between moves. While at the counter, in-person, we requested to be put on autopay after the attendant asked if we wanted to do so. We said yes, but they apparently never did it because we missed the second month's payment and were assessed a late fee. I called to clear things up and the woman said she could not credit us the late fee until we pay the second month. She told me I could do it online so I wouldn't have to come to the facility. So, I told her I would do that, hung up, and paid online. We were never credited the late fee, so I called again. The same woman said I needed to TELL her I was going to pay so that she could credit the late fee (I thought I did that via phone), and that now there is nothing she can do to credit the fee. I was unhappy so I called the Life Storage corporate number and spoke to someone there who promised to look into it. To no avail. I have never heard from anyone and never got credited the late fee. Mind you.. the only reason we were charged the fee was due to their error of not putting us on auto pay when we requested it and they also never sent an invoice for the second month. If they had, I would have known we were not on autopay and could have cleared up the mistake and paid on time. The main reason for the negative review is that the woman was very rude to me on the phone when I tried to settle the issue. So, in summary, they made several mistakes that they would not rectify and then were rude on top of it. Will never use them again or recommend them."
