"If you’re debating storing something, go with this location! The facility is clean, safe, well maintained and easy to access. There are two access points - one high loading bay and one ground level entrance. Both are well stocked with flat carts to move items from your vehicle into your unit. We rented a 10x30 and Heather helped us. She was wonderful to work with, super responsive and seems to be always working! She’s kind and tries to ensure you have a great experience. You can also just walk in and talk to her about rentals - it couldn’t be easier! Thank you to Heather for making something that probably would be a crummy part of any move super simple and pleasant."

"Adrian & Heather BOTH were tremendously helpful! I set up my reservation online & received a confirmation follow up call (from Heather) within minutes. Missed that call & when I returned it (the call), was greeted by Adrian. He answered all the basic run of the mill questions one might want to confirm prior to pulling the trigger VERY expeditiously. I plugged it in on my nav & headed that way, I wasn’t paying close attention when I got nearby & ended up on an access road parallel to their street. In a panic (simultaneously driving a 20ft uhaul - FULL TO THE CEILING), I called Adrian & he calmly guided back around and to their location. Once I arrived, Adrian assisted me through the entire process & when I threw a curve ball at them (asked for my billing/renewal dates to differ from my original move-in date, Heather came to the rescue before Adrian could even respond with “I’m not sure if that’s possible”. Clearly Heather had more experience however I wouldn’t be shocked to see Adrian taking the reigns sooner than later given Heather appeared to be some sort of ‘trainer’. I could be way off with that so either way, they both were stellar & look forward to doing business at this location for the unforeseeable future."

"My interactions have all been pleasant, and the unit itself is good. However, pricing is dependent on location of your unit, with your floor and your proximity to an elevator being factors. I selected a 3rd floor unit close to an elevator. An elevator was out of service for WEEKS (of course during a time I needed to access it frequently). But, hey, I'm reasonable. Poo happens. We're in a pandemic. So I counted my blessings and didn't complain. My cosmic reward? Today I received a notice that my rate will be increasing. At only 6 months in. Was I offered a discount during the time I had to schlep my belongings across the length of the entire facility each time I needed to access my unit... a unit that I selected, and pay extra for, because it was near said broken elevator?? Nope. And now I'm being required to pay an even higher rate only a few months in? Sheesh. And I realize I'm just whining now, but the notice came from a "no reply" email address, so I can't even respond to them in the same manner they chose to communicate with me. I will update if I get any kind of decent response but based on my experience this far, my expectations are low."

"I reserved a unit at Store #8332, on 102 N 20th Street, in Tampa, FL. I went to the location and set up my account on January 25, 2021. I requested monthly auto draft, and gave the representative my card. I signed all of the required documents, and paid for the first month + applicable fees. I received a text on March 12th, notifying me that a payment was due. When I reviewed my online account, I noticed that no payment was drafted on February 25th. I also noticed that a late fee, of $32.80, had been added to my account. I called the location and explained the situation to the Manager. She informed me that the representative who set up my account neglected to initiate auto draft. When I asked if she would remove the late fee, she stated that she would not. I told her I was going to leave a ☆ review on Google, and she said, "go ahead". If you're looking for decent customer service, choose from one of the many other storage providers available. Life Storage charged me a late fee for their own employee's incompetence, and didn't even have the integrity to admit it. Furthermore, when presented with an opportunity to correct the mistake, they (instead) welcomed a negative review."

"This used to be ExtraSpace storage, but was bought by Life Storage and switched November 2020 (today is 12/7/2020). During this acquisition Life Storage didn’t transfer the establish monthly credit card payments. As a result, my November payment wasn’t made. It’s now 9 days late and I was sent an email demanding payment plus a $20 late charge and I no longer have access to the unit. Clearly Life Storage does not value customer relationships and will penalize the customer for their incomplete business processes. They couldn’t even acknowledge the original payment arrangement in their email."

"The facility looks nice and the prices are fair, but I reserved a unit online, and the next day went in to pay for it, and they tried to spring an extra $12 on me for insurance, saying it's required. If it's required and you know you're going to charge people that, why isn't it included in the total cost you're given online? Why didn't the reservation specialists in the 800 number mention it? I think it's ridiculous. I wasted my when lunch break on that for nothing. I'm not doing business with anyone who springs hidden costs on me last minute."

Because rather you are looking to store long term or short term this is the place to be because of the prices because after calling and comparing to other places nothing came cheaper especially with everything that is going on. And last but never least the store associate Ted has extraordinary customer service from the time I talked to him on the phone, to the face-to-face experience, to the checking out point. He made sure I was getting the right size unit for the amount of stuff I have (FYI because I choose a waaaaayyyyy to small one) and not just sold me what I asked for like some other places would and wanted to.
