The staff has always been communicative, which is something that is vital for any customer keeping their belongings in a location that at times maybe far away from themselves or their current living situation. "I recently had the great pleasure to work with a well-accomplished Site Manager named Dee. I originally placed a reservation for a particular unit, the last of it's type/dimension, that seemed perfectly suited to my needs. Due to pressing work obligations, I wasn't able to stop in prior to the reservation's deadline. That said, I contacted Life Storage Orlando expecting to have to "plead my case," as it were. However, Dee handled the interaction with aplomb; it couldn't have been easier. I set up a time to visit the unit the very next day - exactly what I needed in this interaction. As the next day arrived, I visited the Life Storage Orlando site during lunch time, as promised. Dee was diligently assisting another client in securing a Penske truck rental. (Life Storage Orlando offers many, many more products and services than one may initially expect.) Since I still had plenty of time, I was able to walk around the impeccably maintained lobby area and take everything in. Dee demonstrated patience, unparalleled customer care principles and her inherent nature to go the extra mile for the clients she interacts with during my observation of this truck rental interaction. Soon, it became my turn. Dee instantly impressed me by effortlessly switching gears to storage unit rental - the reason for my visit. She quickly located my client record, offered an affable smile and began leading me to the unit I had reserved. She graciously allowed me to take necessary measurements of the unit on my own, contemplate for a moment if the unit would meet my needs and arrive at the decision best suited to me. Never once did she try to "pressure" me, or apply the ubiquitous sales tactics one may often encounter, in any way whatsoever. My interaction with Dee was pleasant, friendly and efficient. She made me feel relaxed and appreciated as a new client. Then, she went even further in so doing. Dee made sure to present me with a very well composed Welcome Kit, including a very high-quality lock and key set...which I promptly forgot to take with me after our interaction was completed. When I realized my error, I immediately contacted Dee again. With a clear smile in her voice over the phone, a rare service art often being lost in modern client-facing businesses, she already knew the reason for my call. A quick trip the next day was all it took to fix my mistake. In short, Dee is the type of dedicated professional we all should hope to interact with. She's extremely knowledgeable in every last aspect of her business, she deftly switches between business lines/client needs and she performs every last bit of it with a positive attitude and a cheerful, disarming smile. Dee made me feel extremely comfortable in selecting Life Storage Orlando. I’m confident that I've made the best possible choice."

"I would put no stars if I could. This place keeps raising our rent. But they do not take care of problems. The concrete is falling off by door. There is a HUGE rat problem. Our stuff is getting ruined. I came today to pick up Halloween stuff and there is rat pee and poop all over. The rats have chewed holes in my rubber ware bins and my boxes. I have told them about this a number of times. Obviously nothing is being done. Moving my stuff out as soon as I can. Smells awful."
