"I had very bad experiences with Public Storage at two locations in Seattle, primarily due to their highly inconvenient hours -- they close at 6pm sharp and clocking out of the gate even 1 minute past 6 triggers increasingly nasty emails and warnings of rental agreement violations. So I chose to rent two spaces at Life Storage specifically for the access to lockers until 10pm, which better suits my schedule and is much more reasonable a policy. What I didn't expect was the fantastic and accommodating support staff at the West Seattle location. What a treasure they have in manager Crystal Walters as well as Jean in the front office! There was a slight clerical error in my original rental that was satisfactorily resolved with understanding and efficiency, and later when circumstances made continuing my occupancy difficult and problematic, an effective and efficient solution was found as I consolidated two units into one larger locker, and by upgrading I was actually able to save over $100 a month! Not only are they professional & thorough, they're just plain nice people who are friendly and genuinely interested in keeping their clientele happy. The grounds & storage buildings are spotless! And then there's the ginormous guard dog Max, patrolling the facility at night and keeping the property safe from trespassing or vandalism. I am grateful and glad to give them my business."

When you come here to support this business, you are supporting a family. That is important, I believe. Also, I appreciated Jean for giving me a cup for water when I needed it after moving stuff! Storage is tough. People are often in emotional states when moving things. Let us Keep that in mind when reading reviews. Love this place, and hope their dog 'Buster' is better trained next time because he was such a pleasant distraction and made the moving process ever so slightly slower."

So we went down the street to Public Storage and OMG, Public Storage wanted way more than Life Storage and this Public Storage was a complete dump.
