I chose Life Storage mainly because of its competitive pricing; all other storage facilities were very pricey. However, there are several things I really disliked, and reason why I may be considering switching storage units. There is no lighting outside at night—well, there is, but it is off, which is very inconvenient and it can even be dangerous. The worst part is that I was only able to find two carts for the entire storage facility. How do they think that two carts are sufficient for hundreds of storage units? I had to wait for both carts to be unoccupied to move my stuff. The third thing is that I think the elevator should have been a little bit bigger, I do not think my bed head is going to fit in there. Last thing is that they charge you yes or yes for a lock, they do not give the option whether you want to buy it or not. Yes, if you don't need it you can go to the office only on business hours to return it but to me it was very inconvenient as I had to ask to get off from work at 5 to be able to get there before they close, they should give the option intead of forcing clients to buy something. On the other hand, the store manager is super nice and helpful, one thing I loved so far.

The assistant manager was so nice and fast at explaining everything because he knew I was in a hurry . For my storage unit the same day. They have carts to move stuff around and an elevator big enough for medium sized furniture . It’s awesome!
