"After Life Storage bought out the Extra Storage I’m Germantown, Tn. I was told that they were going to honor the contract/ rate that I had in place, they did not. They doubled my rates on both my storage and my parking space with no notification. Needless to say I am removing everything from the place ASAP."

"Original: Exceptional service from the onsite team. Couldn't ask for much more. Edit: While the service was great, the pricing is predatory and they are liars. I was told I would be paying $129 a month and signed the contract stating that. Instead it's been $145...! Then without proper notice it's now $185 a month; a 40%+ plus increase over the agreed upon rate. Cannot wait to get my items out of this place. Friendly and competent is great, but price maters both legally and morally. Edit 2: Pricing was taking care of. Everything was fixed according to the agreed upon price. HOWEVER, Extra Space Storage sold this building to Life Storage. I called the office last week and the old manager brushed me off saying it was his last day and to call back when Life Storage takes over. Now, no one has answered the phones 4 days and Extra Space nor Life Storage has not communicated the change over in any way. You'd think new ownership would reach out to inform current customers of the change and offer updated info... wrong."
