A 5x5 storage space is the size of a small walk-in closet. It holds one piece of furniture with a narrow footprint, tall narrow items like lamps, and 6-8 boxes.
A 10x20 storage space is the size of 2-3 Bedrooms. It holds furnishings and appliances for an average 1500 sq. ft. residence. It can also hold compact vehicles depending on width and length.

"I experienced a mice infestation during my year of storing with LifeStorage on New Shackle in Hendersonville. I spoke with the site manager, and he told me they couldn't do anything except put traps in my unit. I returned several times to get my belongings out of the unit, and never once did they put traps in my unit. The site manager also would not speak to me, the leasor, but my mother because she was older than me. He spoke down to both of us consistently, and fell through on his promise to assist us. I am very unimpressed and would NOT recommend Life Storage to anyone if this is how their policies are."
