"GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE! I have been storing my things there for a very long time, so you would think they would have more courtesy/appreciation for all the money I've made them. But when I am late even one payment due to health, covid, or whatever, they send a pre-lien notice out (which affects my credit) - BUT- here's the kicker - then when you try to pay, they will 1) Not answer the corporate phone no., 2) not answer the local no., 3) not answer their emails, and 4) not allow you to pay online.
It's as if they really WANT to sell your things. This has been going on for at least a week (as it had several other times), during which I receive threatening texts and mail but am unable to speak to anyone or pay. I am nowhere close to the storage location that I can go in and pay in person. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and BUSINESS PRACTICES."

What a pity that, despite it being around 12 noon on a Wednesday, they DID NOT TELL ME THAT THE OFFICE WAS CLOSED! Even though the "office hours" on the office door say it is open from 9am to 6pm. "In the service industry, effective service recovery is an essential element to maintaining customer satisfaction.
On Tuesday February 11th, I experienced effective customer recovery from Kenya Bellamy at Life Storage Store #374 13125 Zeb Morris Way.
As I was preparing to move my articles into a storage unit, it became obvious that I had received mis information. This mis information was a financial impact to me, and I was immediately ready to cancel the agreement.
This is when Ms Kenya took responsibility of the situation; even without authority she assured me that she would rectify the situation for that night, get me move in and she was going to better my experience that evening.
She did just that; she apologized for the mix up never once assigning blame one way or the other. She was empathetic and extremely helpful as she assured me that even though she could not guarantee a particular outcome the next day, she would take ownership and escalate the issue to upper management.
I was astounded, at the professionalism of this young lady and how quickly she put me at ease. She restored my confidence in doing business with Life Storage.
The next day I received a call from Susan Strange, the Area Manager, who further apologized for the mix up, honored my original agreement, and extended my payment an additional month.
I am a satisfied customer.
