So far so good. The Rep on the phone (Jaylah) was fantastic! She found me exactly what I was looking for in my price range. And the site manager at the Farmingdale, NY location seems very nice and knowledgeable. I’ll for sure update once I’ve moved my items into the five by five unit. UPDATE: After looking at my belongings, I realized I had more than insurance allotted. I called and Dominique reissued me a new contract with updated value. Again…so far, so good.

Great experience during sign up at the store, mostly due to the store manager Dominique Tracy. She was knowledgeable , personable and made the whole process easy. I started the process online but was unable to see the lease agreement before paying. At the Farmingdale location, Dominique gave a copy of the lease to review, showed me the storage unit and the rest of process was seamless. The facility was clean and well organized. I wanted to look at a competing storage company across the street before I made a final decision but after meeting Dominique ; I decided Farmingdale Life Storage was the best option. This was a perfect business case of having the right people work for a company - it can make all the difference.

UPDATED RATING back to 5 stars! April 2023: Was back to our storage unit last week and we were so happy the blonde lady who used to be there is back. I find out her name is Nancy, and it's already starting to get better. So happy. Mike and Phil are assets to the company and deserve a raise. Professional, caring, and friendly. Update: 2023. We originally had this location rated at 5 stars, however the past year it's gone extremely downhill with new management. Closed during the day, the office is dark, mice, roaches, people quitting left and right, crummy security. I wish the blonde lady who left for another location was back in Farmingdale. It was much better then.
