A 10x20 storage space is the size of 2-3 Bedrooms. It holds furnishings and appliances for an average 1500 sq. ft. residence. It can also hold compact vehicles depending on width and length.

"The facility is clean and modern looking and the rates seem fairly reasonable. The girl in the office seemed very young , but even so she was very professional and took care of all of the things that I think needed to be taken care of"
"The storage facility was adequate, though the price increased quite a bit in the short time I was there. It’s also not a very secure facility, as anyone can easily get past the walk in gate and have access to the grounds. I know of a long time client of theirs who had theft happen in his spaces more than once and he said the management did little to nothing to assist or take responsibility.
My own experience has been annoying because I pay in person so as to not have to pay the credit card fee, or their “convenience” fees by paying on line. Multiple times when I went in to pay, they were either “out to lunch”, or just didn’t staff the office at all that day. So to no fault of mine, because they can’t staff their facility adequately during normal business hours, I had to pay fees to pay online. I went in in person to pay my November fees, and did so successfully.
My space was already empty, as I didn’t need it anymore, but I didn’t have the key to remove my lock. I verbally informed the man working that it would be my last month, and that I’d come back when I could to get the lock. Even though I specifically told him I was done needing the locker, they charged me another month’s fees PLUS a late fee, because I hadn’t removed my lock fast enough. Part of me can see their position on this, and so I called to try to have a productive conversation as to how we could resolve it well. The man on the phone was not very helpful and was very indifferent in his tone and approach. I told him I had a problem with being charged for this month, and especially for the late fees, after telling them I was done there, and that I thought something needed to be done to make it more fair. He told me he’d contact management, and would for sure call me back to settle up. He never did. I never received a call or email as was promised.
Today I got a letter from a collections agency on their behalf. Once again, I can see their point to a small degree about the lock being there. But I informed them before the next month’s fees were due, that I was done. He never documented that in the system, and he never called me back to resolve the issue. Instead I got turned over to collections. Overall the space serves its purpose…not at a great price, but at an ok price…..but the customer service and security were unfavorable in my experience."
"Have had the storage unit for multiple years. Never had any issues with the unit nor have we had any issues with things going missing. Over all worth it nothing to complain about."

They went out of their way to work with me in a crunch no one else that I could find was interested in helping me at all the same day service. Every employee I encounter is pleasant and somehow fulfills every question I have for every need I have . Once you establish an account it is what it is they don’t sit and email you and bug you do you pay online they give you a key tree code with all night access couldn’t be happier. I also appreciate the secure and clean area the other storage places review the walls inside end it smelled and the locks were very sketchy this place is clean cameras everywhere tidy easy. Who can argue with one free month and a free truck plus literally the lowest prices in Stlouis with most convenient location no matter where you’re coming from. I love the no hassle and the fact I don’t get emails all the time trying to sell me something for reminding me of deals like I’m not already customer. "Crooks. Next to a creek and when it floods they destroy your lock, dumpster your belongings if they're wet, lock you out of your unit and continue to charge full price. If you can't move out by the fifth of the month they will charge you for the entire month - even if you have been locked out through no fault of your own and by them. Go ahead - ask them what their policies are. Do you recognize the voice of experience here?
If you take your possessions to this place, you can eliminate the suspense by tossing the entire lot in the creek next door, then pin all your money to your coat and let them pick it off you. If you rent from these waterheads, don't say you were not warned."
"VERY SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES
I set up auto pay and "it didn't go through" so they wait 2 weeks to call me and tell me my payment is due. Of course now I also owe a late fee that is about 40% of what I already owed them. When I went in to explain and ask why I still have to pay, the guy in was nice but who ever he called to ask about waiving the fee was obviously some jerk that feeds off this crap. Safe to say I will be moving my stuff out and never use a life storage again.
Do not rent here."
"My uncle who does not have a google ID had a unit here and it flooded often with hard rain. They do not warn customers of this and a lot of his stuff was ruined and they don’t offer any financial assistance to cover anything! I would recommend looking into other storage units."
"Deliveries from UPS are running anywhere from 1-4 days late due to management not staffing the office full time any more. On the delivery that took the longest, the boxes were so beaten up, wee and dirty the contents were compromised. This locker is work related and it is affecting my business. The gentleman typically in the office has been as helpful as possible, but h is not the problem as far as I can tell. I've left a couple of messages wanting to discuss, but no one has attempted to contact me back."
"I stopped by this location earlier today. During my visit the Matthew, employee on shift was very helpful. Matthew had helped me figure out the correct size unit I will need, in addition to giving me price quotes for it all. While I am still debating on if I will need a storage unit during my move. If I do need one I will be coming back to this location to rent one."
"I cannot reach by phone. Life Storage is not returning my calls. They just keep raising my rent. I have tried and tried to put my own insurance on the account (so they aren't charging me an extra $12.00 per month) but cannot reach anyone. I just get a recording, leave my number and do not receive a call."

"Used Life Storage at this location for about 4 months to house all of my familys belongings while we purchased a new home. When we picked up our furniture and boxes we had mouse droppings all over the place. Mice had chewed on some of our furniture and through cardboard boxes. Inside many of our boxes were tons of stink bugs. To make it worse, the location of this storage building is near a flood area of Brentwood. We checked in our unit after a rainy few days and found evidence of some water coming in under the door (none of our belongings were water damaged). Another con is that you virtually cannot reserve the largest sized units because businesses (like lawn care or construction companies) are always using them. We ended up having to reserve two medium units buildings a part to fit all of our stuff."
