"Nice place to store. Fee's keep increasing and they are not cheap. Bathroom is always locked which is really annoying. New speed bumps will jar anything you have packed and break items. Not the best location."
"A FIVE star storage facility with friendly, helpful management (Ken Mills) and staff. Also offering a wide assortment of packing materials. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the entire facility and very pleased to find the climate well controlled throughout. Well secured facility and storage lockers with lots of choices in size and dollies available to help with moving your items to your locker. Prices are very affordable."
"Life storage is very clean and climate controlled. The staff and management team helped me resolve a "key" malfunction issue in a timely manner. I would recommend the Life Storage facility to anyone.

"Super helpful staff and knowledgeable about my needs to switch units! Ken & Tia were amazing! They helped me find the best price for my needs and work out a more suitable situation. Thanks to you both and Tia for the unit your and conversation. She’s a sweet woman."
"Ken at the front desk is a professional liar, so be careful before you rent from this place.
There are several contract terms that are not clearly explained and most of the time when you ask them a question about the fine print, front desk person will just lie to you.
Two years ago I rented a unit and I was offered a rate of about $300 and I was told by Ken that the monthly rent does not go up for one year and after that at the most it will go up by $5 or $10 every six months.
However, my rent was raised twice and each time by 15% every six months and after one year, it was raised by another 25% for the next six months.
In short, do not believe Ken tells you, the reality is that they stiff you with a rent hike of 25% every six months.
Needless to say that I have moved to another location nearby, and I managed to get a storage unit at about 40% cheaper.
Ken appears to be a real nice and sleek guy, but don't be fooled by his demeanors. He knows what he is doing.
Ken will lie about the the rent increase and lie to you that the rent does not increase every six months.
When I complained to him, he said it is in the contract and you should know this and added that he does not remember our conversation. Of course.
When I reminded that you had clearly explained to me that the rent goes up less than $15 every six months, then he did not answer.
Luckily I had recorded that conversation.
Do not trust Ken or anyone who will lie to you about rent increases at Life Storage.
You will find out that the rent could jump nearly 50% in two years.
Also, there are several companies nearby who will offer cheaper and better places."
"I don’t have a lot of experience putting my things in storage but Life storage made it really easy and accessible. I spoke with Ken in the office and he broke down there process for amd helped me step by step on how to access my storage unit. Would definitely recommend Life storage to others especially this location"
"I've stored in other places and none of them meet your standards. Awesome service, super nice people. Have recommended to others who have also decided to store their belongings there. Thank you!"
"Ken is an amazing front desk service help... I couldn’t believe that at a storage unit u can have customer service like this... this literally is crazy of how good of a job and customer service life storage does"
"I went in to rent a storage unit and received, hands down, the best customer service I've ever had! Thank you to the considerations and instructions I recieved from Ken, the store manager. I was feeling anxious and it all went away. Much aappreciated."
"CLEANEST STORAGE FACILITY I’VE EVER SEEN! KEN IS THE MOST PROFESSIONAL EMPLOYEE I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH THANK YOU SO MUCH KEN FOR MAKING THE STORAGE PROCESS EASY!"
"So far so good! Ken the manager was so accommodating and personable. He took a lot of time with us and explained everything we needed to know very clearly. The facility is very well kept, secure and conveniently located. Highly recommend this new storage facility."
"ADVICE TO THE MANAGEMENT - You should consider implementing a notification system to INFORM customers of upcoming payments and if they're enrolled on auto-pay or not.
As a business owner myself, I find it extremely frustrating when other businesses nickel-and-dime their customers...
After my first month with Life Storage I received an email that my account was past due. I called immediately to inquire why my card had not been ran for auto-pay and I was informed that apparently I was not enrolled. I'm not sure if this was an error on Life Storage's end or mine (although I am almost confident I enrolled in auto-pay when I made the initial deposit payment).
In any case, there was a $30 late fee which I asked to have waived since I was calling immediately upon receiving notification that my account was past due and I had received no email alerts or notifications that a payment was coming up or that I didn't have auto-pay installed.
The manager (Ken I believe) informed me that "they" don't allow him to waive late fees (which had I been several days late or had my card not gone through I would have understood but this wasn't the case).
I feel that being a new customer who called immediately to resolve the late fee and who received ZERO email communication regarding my upcoming payment / auto-pay not being set up it should have been waived.
Although $30 is a small amount for me, it's the principle of the matter and I imagine $30 may not be a small amount for some (especially in Covid times).
I would never charge my business's clients late fees if they were only ONE day late and called to resolve it immediately upon notification and especially not if they were a new customer.
I hope "management" feels that $30 was worth receiving a negative Yelp + Google review and a pissed off customer who will no longer recommend Life Storage to anyone."

"Had a great experience at Life storage. I was renting for 4 months and Ken was just very professional and accommodating to all my needs. I recommended this place 110%!!"
"The staff here is great especially Ken, however make sure you read the small print in your contract as it states that they can raise your rent whenever the company sees fit to do so. I've had my unit for about 4 months and they've already raised my rent. Not a very transparent way to do business as they do not mention upfront, but I'll take the fault for it for not paying attention to detail."
"DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!!! Stay away from this place!!! Scammers and thieves!!! Not willing to work with anyone to resolve an issue. They say everything is buried in the fine print of the contract. My contract stated $76/month and one month free. This began October 30th. Here it is January 8th and they say I owe $340 and that my unit is up for auction.
Anything past due and they add $115 lien fee, $26/month late fee and threaten to auction off the contents.
Managers are careless and incompetent."
"October 30th to January 8th, for the smallest possible unit, on the third floor, with lights that shut off on you while your loading/unloading. All this and "one month free" cost me $340!!! That is $170/month for garbage service and they give you attitude!!!
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE!! It is run by careless and incompetent people who will auction off your unit after 30 days.
Forget one month free, they charged me at every opportunity and then cast me aside and told me that the fine print in the contract that gives them authority to do whatever they want without contacting you.
No email. No letter. No calls. Avoid them like the plague!"
"I am a new customer and I highly recommend this storage space! Ken is very kind & helpful, and I am confident that my possessions remain safe and in good hands. I always appreciate great customer service, so thank you!"
"Hello my name is Bobby. God willing I will be relocating to Hollywood, FL the end of this year. A storage facility is definitely needed. So I came across Life Storage @ 850 Stirling Road Dania Beach, FL. Speaking with the manager Ken @ this particular facility has great hospitality and made me feel extremely welcomed. I look forward to doing business with Life Storage."
"Unit # 2104- Very terrible service - I called and asked for a late fee waiver of $38 and Ken said A BIG NO. First he asked for my unit number as if he wanted to help then said the company doesn't waive fees. If you are looking for storage - run. There fee is ridiculously high compare to my other two storage units I have at Davie Mini Storage - how about $20 not $38 plus they charge around $5 to process the payment online..run!.
I only forgot because I was in the hospital. Just got out and this bill so happens to be one that was due. Go somewhere else please where they are more flexible when something happens.
I cant wait to get better so I can move out. there are not worth my money!"

"I have been impressed by every aspect of renting with Life Storage. I have rented both in person and online and both processes were quick and easy. Ken and Davonte' in the office are both polite and helpful. I lost my unit keys and they made it super easy to replace them.
The units themselves are neat and clean, as are the hallways, elevators, and grounds in general. The a/c is nice and cool and I know our belongings are safe and sound. Thank you!"
"I was wasn’t to sure about storage but i decided to check out a couple prices and locations and jovante made my experience about story my things a little better."
"Ken is amazing! At the last minute, was able to help me out of a bind. Super friendly and very accommodating! Plus, his facility exceeded my expectations. The entire building is expansive, climate controlled, and incredibly clean. He situated a unit that was spacious enough to hold the contents of my entire home. I am very grateful for both Ken & Life Storage!"
