1. Cut my lock off and didn't inform me for several days
2. Locked me out of a unit because their Bank said I paid but their system didn't
3. Mailed in a payment....it was returned by the post office ..."business moved..no fwding address" it was the correct address and they were still there

"DO NOT have furniture shipped here! Got over $5000 worth of furniture delivered there today and it’s now stolen! They do not have good communication between FedEx at all! FedEx will literally just drop your packages off in front of the office and drive off!"

"My daughter rented the storage and I rented the van I did not think that it was going to be that big a maid's job so easy it only took one lower for one bedroom apartments the people were so friendly in the office the Nigerian lady was so nice I would recommend anybody to rent for them I'll give them five star"
"I have stored stuff for over then years thru several name changes. I am getting frustrated with their changes in late fees. Instead of being a fixed rate it is now a percentage of your unit rent. I have several units the same size with different rates. Even though they have security my units have been vandalized several times since I have been there. I sometime wait until the 5th to avoid late fees. Until recently if I paid before 12am online I would not incur a late charge. Now I am told online payments have to be made before 6 pm our time to avoid late fees being assessed. A written or verbal notice of these changes would have been greatly appreciated since I am a long term customer."

"Would 100% NOT recommend storing anything important here. I store one of our cars here in between finding a house and we had a family member who ended up needing the vehicle this weekend through next week. So we go up there to get it and low and behold they started a huge construction project WITHOUT SAYING ANYTHING to ANY of the tenants. I asked the manager if they would pro-rate our rent for the month for as long as this took and she immediately said no "because technically your vehicle is stored". Could not have been more useless and unhelpful. As soon as this is done I am removing my vehicle and never renting from them again. Terrible business practice, you have to let your customers know before you do a huge construction project that completely removes access to your units you rent out. What a freaking joke this situaiton is."

"I made an in store reservation around noon time today when I was advised by Tamir when I come in for 4:30 the rental would be due for return between 4:30 - 9 on next day, she also explained about the $100 deposit and $19.95 rental and $19.95 collision, so when I returned to pick up the van after checking mileage and about to drive off that's when she tells me the van is due back in the morning which totally caught me off guard, she did not explain the rentals are in 6 hour interval slots, this put me in a very bad position considering the time constraint emergency situation I'm in, had she explained to me about this earlier I would have made different arrangement."
"This location is the WORST. I have photos of my storage in a horrible condition in which I didn't leave it in. It's like the ceiling completely fell down and all of my bedding got ruined. I paid my bill including late fees!!! show up with my movers and there was still a lock on my storage. Talk about a waste of money and inconvenience!"

"My Westheimer unit was near the fire. When I had to come in 3 times to take care of my belongings, trash, move out; the contractors were extremely helpful along with staff to assist at that difficult time. They loaded (with my son), held out the big trash bags, offered every courtesy."
"Don't ever store anything here!! My unit and many others where broken into the first month I was there. I got an email the next week to inform me! Good thing I have large furniture that they didn't want to steal. One month later i saw my Life Storage store on the 5 o'clock news bc it had a huge fire. They called me a few days later.. I had to pay for movers to get my furniture out so they could clean up. When I got there with my movers the front door was busted and the staff was on the phone with the police bc they where robbed the night before."
"The staff here is so great and caring. There was a fire here but the manager and other employees took good care of me. They had people working there helping me sort through my items. They took the stress off my shoulders. I am super appreciative."
"A fire occurred in our storaaguit building. All Life Storage was interested in was 1) us getting our stuff out so they could start renovations, 2) documenting to protect their liability, 3) did we have insurance with them. No assistance in moving to another facility, no assistance in getting our stuff out even with air mover tubes, equipment and workers with masks everywhere. Zero customer concerns, all about get your stuff out. No information on what started the fire and possible negligence."
"I think it's wrong that this place adds fees up to $50 or more a month if you are a little late on your payment. This should be waivable especially if you have been a customer fit a extended period of time. Other places will work with you and this location does not at all. Something needs to change. My storage isn't but $70 a month and fees are almost the same amount. I have 3 kids and one income so the money has to stretch. They need to be more understanding period."

"We have been storing our household items at Uncle Bob's for a little over a year. We recently had a concern with our storage units. The assistant manager on site worked hard to correct the situation. The District Manager called us to follow up on our concern and to make certain that the problem was corrected to our satisfaction.
