Kendra manages this location and she is the absolute best! She's incredibly sweet, accommodating, and a pleasure to work with. The facility is nice, clean, and secure. I HIGHLY recommend asking for Kendra specifically!!!

3/1/2024 Here is my update: 9717 US-290, Austin, TX 78724 Under the new management of Tanner and Crystal since September 2023, Life Storage/Extra Space Storage has undergone a remarkable transformation. The communication is now clear and transparent. We now feel our belongings are truly safe and secure, by experiencing a 100% turnaround in service. The facility is impeccably clean, and the introduction of enhanced security measures, including secured doors, reflects a significant improvement compared to the previous management. These positive changes have addressed concerns about property safety, contrasting with past experiences of inadequate security and unfortunate theft incidents. The positive strides under Tanner and Crystal's leadership have undoubtedly elevated the overall experience, making it a secure and reliable storage option. Thank you Tanner and Crystal!! See my review below about the previous management experience. The fees charged by the storage facility are exorbitant and outweigh the benefits of their services. Furthermore, the security measures to protect your property are inadequate, leaving it vulnerable, and some customers’ property has been stolen from their storage units. Attempting to contact the staff for assistance or information is a frustrating experience, as their communication channels are either non-existent or consistently unresponsive.

Good location for access at Central Austin… This place was hard to get ahold of when u needed something..But since Tanner has taken over the office that’s a completely different story.. it seems like he is ALWAYS there to answer questions or get me access when my auto payment didn’t process correctly.. We are totally pleased with our Life Storage experience here at the 290 Frontage Rd location. Tanner is very helpful and competent, one of the best storage managers we have ever encountered. The facility is clean and easily accessible. I would recommend Tanner and this Life Storage/Extra Space Storage highly to anyone.
