"Had a unit on the second floor for about 2 months at the Central Ave fort Myers location. Hallways could use more attention. Went to the unit a couple times a week for several weeks & same small trash items were there every time. Just went to move out & it was very hot. Supposed to be climate controlled. Carts are older & clanky, also things fall off going over bumps in doorway & just outside door as well where cement entry ends & drops off to another bump. I would not return to life storage in future needs."

I was told him never allowed to rent from Life Storage again. They agree to refund my money 9 days ago. I have not seen a single penny in reimbursements yet. I have called about 10 times to corporate office. They don't have any answers. District manager hasn't even called. After I request to speak to her three different times.."

"I went to this facility yesterday and although accommodating to my needs, I feel this place is very unclean (saw live roaches, 4 to be exact crawling around) and not secure (gate is broken as well as door to keep out unwanted guests).  I purchased the unit before noticing all of this and am regretting my decision.  I am hopeful to gain my money back today without a fight, but I have this gut feeling it will not end well.  I think for the amount of money that you have to pay to rent, these small things should be kept up with.  This was my first time at this facility located on Central Ave.  I have rented before in North Ft Myers and cannot say enough of how well kept, clean, and secure that facility is.  I am beyond disappointed and still hopeful to get this situation rectified in a courteous manner."
