I scored a deal for a 10 x 10 unit to store my things while I digitally nomad-ed. $77/month Pros: -Its cheap -Elevator and carts work consistently -Easy to pull up a card for load/unload -Staff mostly friendly and helpful. Went the extra step for me to get a prorated rate when I moved out between billing cycles Cons: -There's some less savory folks storing there so it doesn't feel very safe to be there alone -Same less savory folks had piles of things in the storage that included food, I had concerns about contamination or bug infestation from neighboring units. -Staff was a bit aggressive when we left a uhual parked in the parking lot while we did a home depot run. Instead of calling us they called uhaul with a threat to have it towed. Tips: - bug proof your unit"

I saw the cool black and gold security car sitting idle near the tracks then I saw the security officer walking towards the road from the tracks. I yelled at him "hey what's going on". He replied back "just watching this guy that was looking like he was going to try to get in over the fence". Super nice guy. James. My uncle has a unit at KO storage and I'm really glad to see they have security patrolling around the property. Its a really rough area."
