"I've only been a customer of Uncle Bob's for a few months and I have to say I love it. Not only are the facilities wonderful, but the people running the location in Hicksville and working in the office have been wonderful too. Angie whom I met when I first moved in has been superhelpful. She took the time to understand what I wanted as a customer and went out of her way to make sure I was happy even showing me multiple units more than one time until I was satisfied with the one I selected. She also went out of her way to make sure I was able to empty my things from the car when one of the automatic doors to the building wasn't working. On that note, I can say whenever something like a door wasn't working, it was fixed relatively quickly. The other staff members Sabrina and Eric were also helpful. Eric saw that I was emptying my rented van by myself that day and he jumped in and pushed the rest of my boxes closer to the end of the van, so I didn't have to jump in myself. Sabr"

"Unfortunately, I had the experience of being stuck in the elevator my first time in the facility! It was not a pleasant welcome when someone is going through a stressful time of moving, etc. This had nothing to do with the staff's concern and quickness in getting assistance. I was given a $50 credit for my inconconvinience; in retrospect, it should have been more as a good business decision."

"Yes, My Pay periods at work changed and now I have to pay later in the month. Your system doesn't allow changes to first of the month payment policy. This is causing me extra expense even tho I pay regularly within the month. Other companies allow payment date changes and I would think you would make this available. "

"I own a Moving Company and have clients that stored with Westys at this location for the past 5years. Since it has become Uncle Bobs I have moved all my clients out. The staff is completely unwilling to be accommodating in any way. The staff is very vocal about how they hate Uncle Bobs and the "Corporate atmosphere" causes them to act the way they do. Also, the staff is only concerned with being able to lock their doors 15minutes before the closing time. I do not feel the staff was completely at fault. This company is a far different company than Westys. "
