Came on to ask about a storage room for my stuff . The guy that was there , Will was very friendly and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, they do not have the size I'm looking for at the moment, but he took down my information and will call me once that size becomes available. I will be happy to do business here in the future when that size is available.

Came on a Saturday guy working the counter has an awesome personality very friendly and answered all questions asked showed me my storage unit super super nice guy and very helpful looking forward to do business with again and very clean location I didn’t take any photos but next time I’m back I’ll update with some photos

5 stars for management with 4 stars for the facility itself. Will was incredibly helpful and attentive -- he made my renting experience a breeze and was available to answer any question with ease and professionalism. The interior of the facility is very clean and seems to be adequately climate controlled. I had zero issues with mold, pests, etc. throughout the duration of my rental. The only unforgivable downside (which will hopefully be corrected soon as the outside of the facility undergoes extensive renovation) is the lack of a perimeter gate. While I acknowledge that all exterior doors remain locked at all times, the lack of a security gate is a notable deficiency versus every other self-storage facility. I raised this concern to management (different person than Will) at the beginning of my rental, hoping that it would be the first thing that was fixed during the renovation. Hopefully it will come soon!

Will…The store manager at the life storage in Islip was very professional courteous and helpful, my wife and I initially had an issue with some things and Will was very understanding and went above and beyond to help us. We have had experiences in the past with other storage facilities and have dealt with staff and management that really doesn’t care for the customer. Will has a sincere understanding and concern for the customers that he services. We really appreciate all that he did and went above and beyond what my wife and I could have expected.
