Moving out of your home after 30 years is not an easy process. Add not having a place to move into right away makes it a more daunting process. The idea of a renting storage space is not always included in one's Home Exit Plan & ideas usually come when you're in a tizzy bc you finally realize it's time to downsize all your worldly possessions. Or store them, bc you 'just can't throw them away.' After searching several storage spaces online, l found most are determined to have you rent the space online, contact-free, as in pay sight unseen. Fortunately Life Storage (located on Livingston Ave in North Brunswick, NJ) was the company I researched who offered a reserve option, that if selected, would hold your chosen space until you were able to finish the rental online or physically go for a visual visit. By choosing their reserve option, I was easily able to go over the next day to inspect the space. It was there I found John, who quickly showed his sharp talents as a navigator in the storage solutions industry, & all that Life Storage had to offer me. John took the time, attentively listening to my needs & answering all my relentless questions! He didn't bat an eyelash when asked to watch a 3 minute video I had made showing the contents of my home. Adding positive comments as he watched, he immediately knew of & shared details when done watching, to what not only my storage needs were, but also the expectations I could have renting space from this company by moving forward into a contract. I highly recommend Life Storage for your Storage Solutions, with hope that you'll encounter a GEM like John at your local Life Storage & will be the first smiling face you'll see when you walk in their door! There was an unfortunate delay in my monthly payment being acknowledged even though I phoned it in on time. I contacted Moses, in the office to explain and try to get the late charges forgiven. I told him that I had proof of the call being on time and he accepted my explanation and was able to get it taken off as a courtesy. A very pleasant experience. Thank you.
