"Just rented a unit at this facility and the facility is clean, quiet and well maintained. Im a very busy man and normally don’t take the time to leave reviews but after the amazing customer service I received from Kaia at this facility I had to go out my way for her as she did for me. I was in a rush and accidentally left one of my dollys outsude my unit. I thought I had lost it but Kaia had put it up for me which I extremely appreciated. Most workers don’t like to go the extra mile for customers now a days but Kaia did and I will refer this life storage to others just for that gesture. Total rip off for what you get.
Other than the pricing, the facility is clean, but customer service is the bare minimum and inconsistent - this is NOT owner operated and so the staff often changes and they are often ‘out of the office’."

This location on Warm Springs Road is a joke. Please read the reviews before making a decision.
We rented an RV spot at the 6590 location. A few days after our move in, one of our compartments was open. We received a phone call to tell us that. Looking at the reviews this obviously happens a lot. People's RV's were getting broken into and things stolen. We immediately went to the office to ask to see the cameras and Rayshean said he doesn't know how to view cameras and to come back another time.
So fast forward past the first month which is free. We are supposed to pay for November, and received in the mail a LATE FEE already. After receiving this we immediately called again. We asked for the front office to please waive this one time fee because no one called us, we did not receive an email or any communication whatsoever regarding an upcoming bill. The extremely rude store manager, Kaulani, yelled at my husband and said they will not. Speaking of the rude store manager, she is so snippy and signs her emails "Very Truly Yours". She is beyond unprofessional.
We then asked to speak to the area manager above her. His name is Frank. We left several messages for him in the first week of November. He proceeded to BLOCK our phone number. Every day since then, we have been calling the corporate office to give us a courtesy to waive this fee. Every day corporate tells us they will escalate the matter.
Then we get to today. Frank calls us (almost 3 weeks later). He tells me that there is no such thing as a corporate office. He says that all complaints made get sent to him and we are wasting our time. He says no one will ever call us back. He says he will just go through collections. (for a $25 late fee) Good luck! Oh, then he hung up on us, haha. Professional.
Of course I called corporate back. They said Frank is in the wrong for saying that. I made a new case against him now. He and the rest of that location, are useless at their jobs. We have since vacated the space and will continue to fight this the rest of the way.

"I got a great deal on a 10x10 unit. It's not.the most convenient to get to, but I'm hoping to be done with it quickly. The manager was great... Friendly, helpful and waited for me until almost closing time to set me up in my unit. I like that they have access from 5am-11pm so I don't have to lug boxes in middle of heat.
Just an update... You are required to purchase their lock system. When you move out of unit, you get half the lock and the keys. I asked what I would want half a lock for and the response was "for the next unit you rent." 🤔"
"This facility is amazing. I stored here for 10 yrs and the manager Kia is awesome. Ive read some other reviews and clearly those people giving a negative review probably just couldnt get their way with something. The staff has always been fair and like most companies follows the rules. The facility is clean, well kept, and everyone was always pleasant."
"My wife and I needed to move out of Vegas for half a year. We kept our stuff in Life storage facilities. I didn't know that this is gonna be one of the worst experiences in my life. In the first two month everything was fine afterwards I set an auto payment in the website which apparently didn't go through. Suddenly I got a notice that I have to make a payment double than before(plus a fine) or they will take all of my stuff out.No phone call. I had no choice but to pay the price. After 3 months they suddenly sent a notice that they are raising the price.(remember that I'm out of the state) I cannot make any changes or take my stuff to a different storage..again I had no choice the power is in there hand so I paid the price. I came back to Vegas in the middle of the month. Immediately I took all my stuff out and ask for a refund for the rest of the month. Their representative said she is taking care of that and call me back max the day after. 4 days passed no answer. I called again. Same answer. I know one thing: I'll never do a business with them anymore."
"DO NOT RENT A UNIT FROM THIS COMPANY!!! They have a rat infestation at store #151 4427 Tilly Mill Road Doravillle GA 30360. All of my property was damaged. I have damage to chairs, holes in boxes the size of two large grapefruits, bedding that is shredded to pieces, and droppings every where!!!
As I go to write this review I find that this issue has been reported more than 9 months ago. This is absolutely unacceptable as a facility to have not treated or notified tenants of the problem. Now, my entire's life worth of things are ruined and irreplaceable. The store manager was not empathetic at all and was not helpful. I am in tears as I write this review. If I could leave no stars at all I absolutely would. Please save your items and yourself a heartbreak by doing yourself a favor by not storing here or any life storage facility for that matter!"

"Was told the lock fee was refundable when done but when I went to turn it in the lady said I biught the lock, which is completely useless to me. If I was informed correctly I would have just used my own lock like I have seen most others have done."

They cut your lock off before your stuff is due for auction, despite paying it and the late fees off, then will cheerfully tell you that they are not legally obligated to inform you of changes in policy. "I rented a storage unit at Life Storage (Lake Zurich location) in September 2019. When renting the storage unit I was told that a truck was available to customers who have storage units at no charge for the first 20 miles and that there is a mileage charge for anything over 20 miles. I thought that was pretty nice for them to offer a truck for customers to use. Well, now (in January) I went to take them up on their offer and I was now told it would be $20 to "rent" the truck. I was reluctantly alright with that so I went ahead and reserved it. I then went to pick it up and I was now told it was 29.95 plus 19.95 for an insurance waiver. Since I was there I again reluctantly went ahead with the rental. When returning the truck I was now told there would be a mileage fee on .89/mile!! Now I am angry. I have been totally misled by their scam. I drove the truck exact 20 miles so my original offer should have not cost me a penny and I end up getting ripped off for $67.70. I complained to the person working the front desk and asked to talk to the manager. I was told that the manager would not talk with me. I would be very leery about doing business with this company. There are plenty of other storage companies to do business with that I am sure are much more ethical. This place is totally misleading. I don't like complaining about companies because everyone has a bad day but this was a case where I was misled one time after another. Do yourself a favor and find someone else if you are thinking of doing business with them."
"KAIA has treated myself and my mother absolutely horribly. After auctioning our unit we begged her to at least contact the woman who bought it to ask if we could buy back my grandmothers wedding ring and a baby blanket.
She took our numbers and promised to do this for us. After not receiving a call back, we tried calling her, with no answer. When she did answer she was very rude saying well we should have paid the bill, which i understand, but I dont understand why she would say she would help us in the first place and then not do anything. I went in there in person, for the second time, the first was for less than 2 minutes to give my number and I personally never called her once, and when I entered the second time she said, "This conversation is over, if you do not leave I'll call the police for trespassing"? I had not personally ever had a conversation with this woman, and this was only my second time on the property.
She also said, "I called the woman, and I'm not telling you what she said." ??? Which I also don't understand why she would offer to call in the first place if that was going to be her response. I also dont think she even called the woman with a response like that to be honest. After this conversation, she barely even bothered to look at me btw, my mother and I decided to call in a complaint against her. Only 20 minutes after my mother filed the complaint, Kaia called my mother, she had our numbers obviously, and told her that if we came back she'd call the police for trespassing. I called those people back and told them what happened, that she contacted my mother to threaten her, and hope that they will resolve the issue. I will also be trying to talk to her manager at least someone else who works there, she seems to be the only one, which isn't possible.
She might be nice to you when she's trying to get you to buy a unit, but her kindness ends there. She works at place that does have the potential to sell irreplaceable items and it is inevitable that she will have to "deal" with distraught costumers that NEED her to help them and have sympathy and understanding in the situation and all she offers is false hope and threats. All we asked of this woman was to make a phone call and get us answers, but apparently that was too much work for her.
Even if you think this will never happen to you, think worst case scenario and pick a different place to do business that will actually try to help you instead of sending you away in tears with nothing.
There is more in life that matters than money, but that's all these people care about."

"Storage was broken into. Manager acted like she didn't care and I proceeded to get treated with attitude when I called for updates. Asking around, I found 8 other friends on my social media who were also robbed from this location. The manager said my things were stolen in August but then said there was no footage because the cameras are only on the outside of the units. When I first bought the locker, she told me there were cameras everywhere.
I was told that on one night, a customer was checking on her things and saw a truck drive in and the guys proceeded to cut open 3 lockers at once and wildly throw things in their vehicle. She left a voicemail for the office, but wasn't discovered until later. Obviously there's a security issue. Why isn't anyone looking into this ?"

"This place is by far the best storage company I've done business with. They are the complete opposite of Storage West! These guys are welcoming, polite, professional, and will fully explain what your rights and contractual obligations are, allow you to add a second person to your lease, offer great insurance on what you store for as cheap as $12 a month, on average are $15-50 cheaper than Storage West per unit, offer discounted supplies like tape and boxes to new customers for the first two weeks, and finally allow you to access your unit until 11pm daily, while Storage West will actually lock you in if you're not off property before 7pm. Returning customers also get an additional 10% off their monthly rate. I am extremely satisfied with my unit there and couldn't reccomend them more if you find yourself in need of a storage unit."
"We would give zero stars if possible. Unfortunately, we did not heed the warnings of past customers and stored our new travel trailer at the Warm Springs property.
Immediately individual(s) gained entry and stole our
television and $550 backup camera system that had not yet been installed.
We think it must have been an inside job because they seemed to know we had just arrived. When we explained what had happened to Life Storage they could not have cared less.
Too bad this company has devoured all storage facilities in town which leaves consumers with little choice for storage solutions."
"I have some of my items stored in this air conditioned clean facility. The customer service from the manager all the way down to her newest employee have always been honest and friendly. Being that I'm a veteran, it is always a good feeling to hear a business ask if I'm a veteran rather than me asking if they offer a military discount. And because the manager asked and offered the military discount before I could even think of it, I can not find a reason not to give this storage facility the top mark."
"THEFT - Please do not do business with this company. Today my trailer and several other tenants RVs were stolen from this storage site. The lady who was working the office today, refused to give her name and stated she only works at this storage facility once week and it's not her problem. She was extremely rude with poor customer service.
Several hundred thousand dollars were stolen from this site today. I called the 1-800 number and was told someone would get back to me with in a week.
My trailer had anti-theft devices on it so still it would not have a been an quick theft, but the storage facilities cameras did provide any useful footage.
The police were notified."
"This is a nice little storage facility. It's in a pretty good location and it's never been busy the times I've been here. I don't think I've ever even seen a single other person here. I'm just removing one star for the pricing, it's a little on the expensive side but that is because of the air conditioning. So if you care about air conditioning it's most likely worth it."
"Until today, I probably would have given this place 4 stars. However, today I received a call from someone at the location to tell me my unit was found "unsecured". I told them that was weird because I haven't been to the unit in about a month or so & asked if it looked like the unit had been broken into & was told "no". Based on a previous experience when I first rented the unit, I assumed "unsecured" meant, I had not secured the lock properly. I told the LifeStorage employee that it would probably be after 5 before I could get there. At NO time did they tell me it was urgent that I come to the location OR that my unit had pretty much been torn apart, the door was all the way open AND several of the boxes & pieces of furniture were thrown in the hallway. Imagine my surprise when I arrived!!!! Their reasoning for not telling me any of this - company policy is not to tell customers that their units haven broken into when they don't actually know if that's the case. I can understand that you don't want to give a customer bad information BUT SERIOUSLY, YOU'RE NOT GOING TO TELL SOMEONE THEIR BELONGINGS ARE THROWN IN THE HALLWAY & THE STORAGE UNIT DOOR IS WIDE OPEN SO YOU NEED TO COME ASAP????
To make matters worse, they go on to tell me had I had a different lock type (other than the one they recommended to me when I rented the unit) it would have been more secure. Unbeknownst to me, and probably others who have units at this location, as people move out, they are replacing the locks with the "more secure locks". Apparently Other Life Storage locations are hiring a third party to come in and install the "more secure " locks in all units at one time & letting their customers know that this is happening & why. Point being, if I don't move out of my unit, I might never be told that they are replacing existing locks, (the ones they recommended), with more secure locks.
The entire way this has been handled is pitiful. Disgusted with this location & if I don't get a call from the area manager by tomorrow- disgusted with this Company. & oh by, the way, it appears all the codes they have are a waste of time. Renter Beware!"
"The whole storage thing can be a stressfull thing especially under the emergency circumstance i was in. However this place made it pain free l, they were so helpful. I had 2 units across the street on warm springs and the gentleman Especially i have forgotten his name, but i must say was a saint. We need more CAPABIL PEOPLE IN THE WORLD LIKE THIS. He was helpful friendly and one of the most efficient employees i have had ever had the pleasure to deal with from any business. Please take good care of employees like that. They are the heart to a business. The reason it bombs or flys high.

"Kaia manages this location and she has been a great help with my concerns. The facility is kept clean - when things do happen, the staff is quick to take care of the issue. The issues I have had have been addressed. I would give this facility 5 stars except for the annual increase in rates (every 9-12 months) - this seems to happen at all storage units in LV no matter what company runs the operation, so it isn't exclusive to Life Storage - but this is a notice to Corporate to show some favor for people who are long-term storage space users. Back to Kaia - she runs a great team, she is 5 star, and I am glad I have gotten to know her. I also recently met the regional manager and he was eager to help with any issues as well. For those people who have reported issues with the staff in the past, get to know the team, they are willing to be helpful and actually quite friendly when given the chance. They understand how stressful moving can be and that helps. By the way - I have visited some (other brand) storage facilities in town that are poorly managed, badly maintained, or in a rough neighborhood this is certainly one of the nicer facilities."

Drove 2 hours to see unit. Made a deal with Debbie.
Returned home, went on-line to order a unit. The website was malfunctioning and we couldn't reserve the unit for the price promised.
Notified Darcy of the problem. Basically, Oh well from her. She could of cared less. She was condescending and rude. She couldn't understand basic math and how the numbers didn't match.
