A 5x5 storage space is the size of a small walk-in closet. It holds one piece of furniture with a narrow footprint, tall narrow items like lamps, and 6-8 boxes.
A 10x20 storage space is the size of 2-3 Bedrooms. It holds furnishings and appliances for an average 1500 sq. ft. residence. It can also hold compact vehicles depending on width and length.

"If I can give 0 stars I would! Such a disappointment. This place used to be Storage Q when I originally rented from them but since the transition everything has gone downhill. Not only do they charge A LOT more for the same size unit, they don’t even do a pro rate if you vacate early. To top it off, they now lock the bathroom, so you have to get a key from the front desk and when they leave for the day good luck, make sure you can hold it to get to the nearest gas station."
"Our newly constructed home wasn’t ready even though we sold our old house ahead of time. We needed a double move. That meant temporary housing, and of course, that raised the question ‘What do we do with our stuff in the meantime?’ I never had the need for a storage facility and initially I was apprehensive. Is it clean in there? Will my furniture get ruined? What about security. Will my property be protected? How convenient will it be? Can I get to it when ‘I’ needed it.
I met with Ashley and Liz & they both walked me through everything; they accurately calculated the size of the facility I needed; whether I needed a climate controlled room, or not; or if I needed dual access; first floor/second floor options, any security questions I had, etc.. They also offered packing material and just about anything else you needed to keep your belongings safe.
Even though I only needed a storage space for a single month my fears were quickly put to rest. The staff is friendly, helpful and they took the time to answer all my questions. As an older guy this information often comes fast, yet they took the time to patiently explain everything in detail. The hours are flexible (with 24 hr access), and the rates are exceptionally competitive.
I would highly recommend Life Storage in Dardenne Prairie. They are a top notch outfit, professionally managed. Even if you have a small storage overflow dilemma consider storing your property there on a long-term basis. We were very happy with the outcome, pleased beyond expectation. Great idea, great option!!!

"I was charged for a month that I wasn’t even in the unit. I vacated/closed out my unit a whopping 6 days after the billing cycle, and despite the employee there telling me I’d get a prorated refund back, they called back saying they won’t do it. I signed with storage q, not these people and i was never disclosed that they will not refund any amount when you leave. When this was storage Q, 5 stars all day. When life storage bought them out, horrible. They will steal your money, so if you are with them now and are about to close out your unit, make sure you do so long before a bill cycle so they can’t get away with it."
"I just recently purchased a house and am in the process of moving, my lease is up before I am able to move in so I needed a place to store all of my stuff. Ashley was able to help me figure out which size locker and whatnot would be best for me and explained how it would all work as I have never had to get a storage locker before.
