"Would not recommend! I had my items in storage for approximately a year and a half and this is how they came out. I had an indoor space and my personal items and handmade furniture are all ruined by water damage. I even had a plastic bin with a closed lid filled to the top with water. How does this happen? How are there not inspections done on the facilities to ensure there are no leaks in the roof and everything is up to date? The furniture that was ruined was made by my grandfather who is no longer alive. The baby pictures are the only ones I had. These things can’t be replaced by money. Luckily the gentleman at the front desk was kind enough to help take pictures for my insurance claim. I also feel as if this facility should have some accountably as I essentially paid to store items that are now going in the trash. This location got approximately $1,300 from me and that money was basically wasted. Shame on you Life Storage for not taking better care of your facilities. I will be telling all of my friends and family in Dundalk and the surrounding areas not to rent at this location and will be sure to share my pictures and experience with them!"

All my clothes, handbags, furniture are ruined. Baltimore county police officer came to confirm. The police officer videotaped the water gushing out of the wall. There was not a few drops of water, but one to two inches of water. This is not an act of God, but pure negligence from the company. I sent an email to CEO, Mr. Joseph Saffire.

"Excessive charges if you are late on a payment. Also, they weren't very forthcoming about the online payment option, which would have made it much easier for me, as I work the same hours they are open.
I have a small unit, 5'x10'. My payment was $50 or $60 at the time. I was ten days late on my payment and it cost me $300 to bring my account current. The was no system for email notifications at the time, and I assume they prefer that you are late as often as possible. It seems part of their business model is to gouge current customers by overcharging the be-jesus out of them when you are late.
Besides that, the facility is clean, and well lit, but they open too late and close too soon. Not super convenient. I would have given them two stars, but I'm stingy and they are at a solid 5 stars right now, and I have an axe to grind."
