A 10x20 storage space is the size of 2-3 Bedrooms. It holds furnishings and appliances for an average 1500 sq. ft. residence. It can also hold compact vehicles depending on width and length.

"I am a parent of a LSU student and we discovered at the last minute that we needed a storage unit. We first went to the unit closest to the college. We discovered that they were out of the 5x5. A gentleman overheard the conversation and assisted to help me. He was very helpful. He checked the life storage on Siegen Lane (8025) and they had a 5 x 5. He gave me the information and telephone number and I call the number and was on route there. A person by the name of Courtney answer the phone and she tried to assist me in opening the storage unit online. Unfortunately it was not working so I called back and she was patient enough to stay on the phone until I got there. we got there at 5:55 and they were about to close at 6 o'clock. I told Courtney I was sorry I know it was about to close. She gave us the best customer service experience. She was not concerned that it was closing time. She made sure that we were straight. We were done about 6:20. Courtney Myles is a great asset to the life storage. She is patient and kind and we did not feel like we were a bother to her. I wanted to recognize Courtney because she is the definition of extreme customer service. Considering customer service has gone down the drain."

We hopped on the golf cart and she took me right to it. She informed me of all prices and specials. And she also showed me how to use my lock and granted me a key ring. "We can't recommend this storage location. During nearly 5 yrs as customers, the facility changed ownership/name at least twice and we experienced 4 unsubstantiated rent increases. After the third rent increase, we stayed at the facility but moved everything into a smaller unit. Our fourth rent increase notice was followed by a $30+ late fee charged to our acct for late rent that month. Apparently our online banking check was rec'd on the 6th although our bank mailed it 8 days prior to the due date. Life Storage refused to waive the late fee despite 1) our bank providing us written proof of timely payment, 2) our history of previous prompt rent payments, and 3) our longstanding relationship with the facility. The fourth rent increase and late fee were our "final straw."
We moved everything into another storage facility down the street. Our new facility has never changed ownership/name and reportedly has not increased their rental rates in several years. Although moving is never pleasant, it was well worth it for the stability and better customer service."
