"BEWARE...I called and spoke to someone 2 times about rates charges etc. Than went into office to make sure the size of the unit was going to work for my needs and AGAIN spoke with the manager and went over all monthly charges including lock as I have my own lock..I went into rent the unit and they wanted to charge me a lock fee when I was told I didn't need one if I had my own n was going to charge me $20 more than what was discussed 2 days prior I said forget the reservation I am no longer interested in doing business with your company...all these different charges I can see numerous issues going fwd and staff wasn't helpful and quite rude on top of it all STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY"

We reserved a unit on the Life Storage website and went into the location a few days later. "Warning!!!! Life Storage is a money hungry place. No decency at all. They are “paperless” and be forewarned you have to make an account, don’t use guest. They charge extra fees for not having an account. If you do have an account make sure you fill out the profile and check reminders. There are no “automatic” invoices, no reminders. And although there were numerous emails in the beginning there were none informing you that you have to set up payment reminders at all. I’ve never once known a company not to have this practice of notifying payment due, but if you factor the 20% late fee, why would they want you to pay on time. I wasn’t planning more than a month so that’s on me that I didn’t auto save a card. Just know what you’re getting into and be super cautious. Although the unit is overall nice, it’s not worth the sour taste I have from horrible business practices and customer “service” is non existent. I honestly wish I would have never used them for this move and stuck with hide-away on 301 even though it was farther, they were amazingly accommodating and much better priced."

"4.5/5 stars We found this Life Storage close to I-75 so we could get out of town if we wanted. The storage has only been open a few months now and still has that nice, new appearance. We signed up right away, luckily, when it was pretty empty for RV storage because it is pretty full of RVs and one cool old Ford that someone may be fixing up.   The person in the office that signed us up was really nice and helpful!! Everyone we've met have been great. Anytime we call, they do everything they can to help. I am very happy with and definitely recommend this Life Storage. We go there quite often and it is quiet and everything operational. The roads are a bit of a squeeze for larger RVs to get through. I will update after some more time goes by!"
