The lock was placed inside The storage unit so we could get there when we wanted to as we had already done the paperwork online ahead of time. The lock was a very secure cylinder lock. When I went to ask the staff to request for the driver to move , the staff memeber told me to go yell at the driver to move his truck... that is not my job... and I know how stressful moving could be... you never know what type of day an individual could be having. "We moved out on the 9th of the month . We went to the office to let them know we were out and what we needed to do . He said we didnt have to do anything and processed our paperwork for our move out . We asked about a refund for the rest of the month since we were out to which the clerk replied oh sorry we dont do that here ! There are no prorated rents ! So we had to pay for 21 days that we did not need or use ! The best part is they could have rented it and are charging some one else rent on top of that too ! I am thinking that thats illegal ! I know for sure it is in the housing industry ! Bottom liken is that they made us pay for services/ space we did not use ! Thats not very consumer friendly . I work in the multi family housing industry and do get asked where is the best place to store my stuff from plenty of people . I can tell you for sure Life storage would never get my recommendation ever !"
