A 10x20 storage space is the size of 2-3 Bedrooms. It holds furnishings and appliances for an average 1500 sq. ft. residence. It can also hold compact vehicles depending on width and length.

"This is the message that I sent to the company. I just didn't want to take the time to write a yelp version of my experience.
I have requested to cancel my account as of may 26th 2022 in the beginning of may 2022. I have filled out the documents but still got charged for June at the end of May. My payment due date is on the 29th of the month so I shouldn't have been charged. I call on May 30th and spoke to Nick who said that my space wasn't canceled out and that he would refund the charge. I haven't received that refund so I have disputed the charge with my bank. The reason for my message is to inform you of the lack of your employees in taking care of your customer. I will never use your storage facility "if needing a storage" again."
"I have been a customer with Life Storage for some time now. I recently noticed that the price online is now $40.00 less than I have been paying. I did speak with the representative and he told me the way to get the lower rate was to move to another space in the same area. That is ridiculous. The representative told me that he would contact his district manager and would call back. No callback. I have left messages for a return call and have been trying to call for the past two days with no one answering the phone.
Also in the past their elevator was out for a couple of weeks and my items are on the second floor. I am 70+ and not physically able to carry my items up a bunch of stairs. Also, quite often there is no dolly available.
I would highly recommend not using Life Storage for your items. There are many places in the area that offer better prices and better customer service."
"The office had a sign on it saying closed from 8:30-1:30. There were several customer waiting for someone to show up to work. After making several calls. They got someone to come to work at 2:00. It’s a shame LifeStorage raises the prices like they do. You can rent the space online/in store for cheaper then what the are changing their current customers. This is for the Wildomar CA location."
"Terrible customer service. Need to get a hold of someone that works at this location, good luck. I've been calling for 2 weeks I've left almost a dozen messages and no call back. I moved out of my storage on the first day of the billing cycle and they took the whole amount and won't refund the money its been over 2 weeks. There's another storage facility right next door. I'd recommend using them."

Good parts- super well let storage , felt very safe , lights worked , doors, great security measures. Very clean premises , units are clean, well kept , for the most part.
I can guarantee the glove that has a unknown substance is still sitting on top of the fire extinguisher... been there since I moved in.
The ugly and bad- they didn't get a cart until a few weeks ago but you have to check out the key , now here's the funky part, in order to get that key you have to go into the office , the office that you better call before you even drive over to make sure 100% someone is there , I stopped by several different times today 10/28 , dude wasn't in sight sign kept saying out to lunch . So imagine someone who needs to move stuff but can't because no one is in the office. And they close at 6. When most people who need to access their items after work ..
oh and if your active duty military, make sure you look like it. I simply inquired about the military discount , and apparently they need your superiors number, that superiors number, your active duty orders then you can show your active duty ID ... dude kept emphasizing ACTIVE DUTY... I'm assuming because he assumed I wasn't active duty or my spouse wasn't... idk. Just beware for the grilling lmao
I have 2 storage units here, and honestly , if it weren't for the fact that all of our shit is in the second story , I'd switch to the place on the other side. I'm just to lazy to move all of our crap now.

"Do not go to this store the manager mardi pring is very Dishonest person he is a thief been a customer for 10 years never had a problem with the previous owners only when this company took it over and made this guy manager so for the last three months he has said my card has not gone through and waits till it's past due to call me and tell me my card did not go through so he can charge me a late fee every time
So every time he calls I ask him what card number is he using he reads out the right card number to me over the phone and I'm like there's plenty of money in there so I give home another card to run over the phone all good until the next month is due me thinking everything is ok nope calls me again after he has hit me with an over due fee again
After the third time I go to the store to pay and find out WTF is going on come to find out he put the right card number in but the expiration date had expired so instead telling me after the first time it was past due and read me the card over the phone he would never tell me the expiry date
So after the third one I decided to go in there and lo and behold when I showed him the card number was right he told me oh it expired one he had on file
If I had an economy check he would've got another late fee out of me very dishonest I asked him to waive it he said he would not all they want is money I don't care about the customers as I told him I was going to leave a bad review on yelp he said no problems"
"Worst experience 2 moving weekends in a row. Drove 3 hours with 2 trailers only to find out that my gate code didn't work because they said they needed to check my ID first so I had to leave my trailers with all my belongings outside for 2 days till I could go into the office. Then the second weekend I had the same problem no gate access. Both times I called in advance to make sure thing was good to go but nobody at the front desk ever answers. Also the signs and the telephone prompts say "sign up online now and move in right now" Find a public storage if there's one within reasonable distance. Save yourself the headache."
"Great facility and really awesome person who works at the front desk.
Only problem is some of the technical stuff: I had issues when signing up and trying to get access codes to work and dealing with their phone support after hours is inconvenient and takes forever (IF you can get ahold of anyone). Even getting in touch with the front office by phone instead of in person is really difficult (I haven't found a direct number for my facility anywhere, which would be massively helpful). But since I'm getting a clean and secure storage unit with really friendly staff on-location, it's worth it."

"This place NEVER answers the phone. In a span or 3 hrs from their opening time, I called 8 times yesterday, and not once was I able to speak to any staff there.
Also, they are ALWAYS short staffed, management really needs to get it together! Only one person is ever working, and if they are out on the premise showing someone a unit, they literally lock up the office and you're stuck waiting around till they come back to the front desk. There should always be someone available to assist current paying customers, this is unacceptable for any business!"
"I have been with your organization since you purchased it. Your local staff provides good customer service. Too bad your organization failed! You decided to increase my rent as of 3/30/21. I didn't get a notice. I keep all of my electronic records and noted that I have not received a bill since 2/21. Now, I get a late notice with a penalty fee. When I went into the office, I was informed of the increase. Your local staff member had no idea of the situation as she only knew that the notice went out. It didn't. Now she has to work to resolve the problem of the penalty....thanks to your failure in accounting management. Is this how a nationwide organization operates? Poor communication between you and your customers, while leaving your field staff in the dark. VERY DISAPPOINTING. I look forward to your response, if any. Or, do you just not care?"

1-does not have equipment necessary for storage
2-unit located at far end of lot, then up elevator on 2nd floor, then at the far end of the building--no dolly available for move in/out/ or in between.
3-promised equipment would be available month after month for over 6 months, never available.
4-should be giving a discount because they cannot give service advertised, instead raising rates.
5-customer service not available, do not ever return the phone message.
6- never notified of more accessible unit, despite seeing several vacated.
7-Vanessa and staff always kind and professional, which is appreciated. However, I'm paying for moving and storage services that are not being provided."
"Unreliable!
We needed a storage unit and spoke with the staff at this location on Thursday 12/31. They confirmed we can move in on Sunday 1/3 as long as we came in on Saturday 1/2 (today) to process paperwork. We drove an hour and half there this morning only to find the office closed. We spoke to someone in corporate who advised there was 'staffing issues' and they are not able to send anyone to the facility. Now we've been driving around for 3hrs trying to find someone with space available as escrow closes next week."

"This place is a joke I'm currently not mobile so when I come to storage I have to stay there extended times . On the 2nd day I was yelled at about being on the property too long. Kathy Partridge the manager accused me of trying to sleep there.mrs.Partridge even had another tennent try to intimidate me.trying to imply he was an employee. Totally unprofessional..many related to storage get met with blank eyes .one night right before closing she tried to lock me in. She also credited my payment to another account the woman has issues and needs to retire"
