"Very impressed I have been preconditioned from past experiences and interactions with others to loathe the very concept of renting a storage place. Extended contracts, extraordinary fees, limited access for hours for the facility amongst many other concerns have prohibited me from pursuing the use of a storage facility. The other day I called Life Storage’s 800 # just for general information. I was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism, courteousness and overall excellent customer service I was provided with by the representative on the phone. I was able to schedule an appointment in a timely fashion and get everything arranged fairly quickly at the site itself. I moved my belongings in the same day. The fees are reasonable - the monthly expenses also reasonable. The entire experience was well beyond what I would’ve expected for most places these days let alone a storage facility. Each step of the process was easy and met with respectful courteous, professional, customer service representatives that exceeded my expectations for a service experience that I would receive from most establishments. "Life storage helped me out during a very trying time. I ended up having to give up my place next to South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa because I got ill and lost my career. I have friends out here, and they asked me to come stay with them and try a NECESSARY lifestyle change. I am a high-maintenance, rat-race competitor with killer instinct, at least professionally, and have been for well over 20 years. This idea of leaving my "beloved" OC absolutely terrified me. I don't know anything or anywhere in this new place I am to call home. Much to my surprise, I created an online reservation for Life Storage and was pleasantly surprised at the rates offered online! I reserved the space, and first thing the next day, I received a call to confirm it, and they were kind enough to call me and ask when I could be by. I couldn't make it at my stated time and received a very polite and courteous follow-up from the woman I spoke with earlier. I was first shocked at the engagement as I expected some form of aggressive or maybe even derogatory behavior, only because I didn't fulfill my commitment to be there when I said I would. Then the woman was not only Life saving, but she listened to me explain my current situation and bless her heart she remembered I had to cancel my reservation, but she still honored it! She actually remembered speaking to me and my name!!! Where, pray tell, does one find such exemplary service in this day and age? I personally dunno! But thank God people like her exist and comapnies like Life Storage are aware of the potential REAL LIFE CHALLENGES we all face. Now the deets! Super clean and well maintained facility, positive and helpful staff always ready, zero concern about safety and care of my belongings! Thank you Life Storage!!!"
