A 10x20 storage space is the size of 2-3 Bedrooms. It holds furnishings and appliances for an average 1500 sq. ft. residence. It can also hold compact vehicles depending on width and length.

"I wish there were more stars to give. 5 stars is an understatement. Nice, clean, climate controlled facility. I priced several out and this one gives you the best value for your dollar. Jamie on numerous occasions has came to my aid and went above and beyond to accommodate me when he certainly didn’t have to. Michelle has also. "5 stars is an understatement. Honestly. Everything about this facility is superb. I run a resale business where I resell merchandise so I’m in and out regularly. It’s always very quiet I have never ran into an issue with the loading docks being full or all the carts being used. I was really fortunate to have storage here it’s really been a great experience. I priced out several and found this one to be of the best value. Climate control is kept nice and cool and the facility is great. Has a bathroom which is always an added plus we won’t find that at public storage. I also have customers coming directly here to purchase things that I’m selling. I’ve never been a problem and I’ve never seen more than maybe two other customers there at any given time and I’m there quite a bit.
I would have to say the most superb fact about this location is truly and honestly the staff and management. I’ve stored here for about a year and over that time I’ve ran into a couple hardships. "This is an ideal location and the management. Is ran by a sweet and caring gentlemen named Jaime. Decent rates and they sometimes offer 50% off and 1 month free occasionally which you can see directly through life storage website.
One thing to consider here is if you are running. An ecommetce/resale business, the rates are affordable while creating alot of space to maneuver inventory. I operate quite a large business and this Life Storage makes it a lot easier to maintain, ship, etc.
I have been here around 12 months and things seem to be on the non worrisome side here on Gilbert @ray road.

"Really one of the better storage facilities probably the best I’ve done business with. When I got the unit several months ago the manager who works at the desk (really nice guy, I know his name I just can’t think of it right now- starts with a J) gave me a really substantial discount and even carried more discount over to the next month. Definitely didn’t have to do that. He’s always been really good to me. Michelle who works the weekends is also very pleasant and accommodating. All around the staff is by far the best and will do what they can to help you or work with you. I pay under $100/month for my unit and it’s climate controlled. Gate access until 10pm. Sometimes I’ve been there after 10pm and no one has ever gave me any trouble about it or even mentioned it to me! I don’t write many reviews but had to give credit where it is due. I really appreciate the staff and the convenience this location allows me to run a resale business out of. Also another plus is there’s never crowded entry or too much traffic, it’s always convenient and I visit my unit quite often. -Andrew Z"

"Everyone at this facility has been incredibly generous with the help they have given me at this location. I am in the middle of a crazy move and have complete exploded into a hallway, Jamie so graciously let me use an empty unit for a few hours so I could Finnish my packing. When someone broke into my car and stole my storage keys, they kept a special eye on my unit and helped me with getting it re-keyed. I love everyone here, great people, great service and the entire place is impeccably clean. From the office to the units. Everything is swept and very well kept! They have a huge elevator if you happen to choose a second floor unit as well as rolling carts to help load things in or out. Incredibly convenient! Even more convenient is the online option to book a unit. That's how I booked after-hours. I just walked in gave them my information and they gave me the key and I was set! "I fell behind due to losing hours due to COVID. I called Jamie and explained the situation and told him I'd call the next week and try to catch up. I called on the date I promised and was informed that he would not take a partial payment ( the lease agreement does NOT state this). The only thing I can do is save up for the total and hope they don't sell my child's belongings in the meantime. When I finally had the total given to me by Jamie saved up, I was informed that another $100 fee had been added! How am I supposed to save up and pay the total if they keep raising it? This company is UGLY to people in a bad spot!"

"Having a storage unit here has been the best experience! Anytime I have gone into the office, all the staff are extremely nice and helpful!! One day I rushed in to add an item so our already full storage and I closed the door and locked the unit. It was later at night, Friday night around 8am. Got a call the next morning around 9-10am saying I didn’t lock my unit. I’m so thankful that they do a check each day to ensure the locks are secure. I did lock my unit but I forgot to slide the mental that actually locks the door before locking it with the key. Without inspecting it, you would have never seen that. I have so much $ in my unit, I’m so happy that they are so through! Today I needed a new unit and I got the pleasure of working working with Sandie. She was helping out for the day but so knowledgeable of all units and was so happy to help me! I came in shortly before closing because I just got off work and rushed over as the online registration wasn’t working so I wanted to get in and get the paperwork done real quick. Sandie took her time to review my orders, as I accidentally made 4 reservations, Woops! She cancelled the orders and got me the right unit for the price that I reserved. Even though they were technically closed at this point, she never made me feel bad or feel like she needed to rush so she could leave. She has some of the best customer service I’ve had in quite some time. We ended up spending about an hour going through all the checks and balances and she even walked me upstairs to make sure I knew where my unit was and that my key was working. I really appreciate all of her hard work and dedication to making customers happy!"

Cons:
1)Rate increased right around the time COVID hit. Seems like a bad time to hike rates when people are struggling. Prices are not locked in so price can change month to month which is inconvient if you already have all your belongings stored.
2) No bathrooms "due to COVID", no where to wash your hands, no sanitizer around the facility, no trash cans in the building, and dumpster is locked- access must be requested."
